"Smooth roofs'" and "Gravel built-up roofs" (BUR) are very durable systems. Made up of layers of asphalt and saturated felt. The only difference between the two is the "Gravel BUR Roof Systems" feature a top layer of gravel to weigh the system down and provide additional protection.
